Terms and Conditions

Effective date: June 26, 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to What's it Doing?, Bryan's personal automotive consultation service operated through Rodgers Services LLC. By using the website or purchasing a consult, you agree to these terms.

Service description

Bryan provides written automotive diagnostic guidance based on the information you submit, including symptoms, vehicle details, trouble codes, repair history, photos, audio notes, estimates, and follow-up messages. The service is intended to help you understand what may be happening, what may be worth checking next, and how to think through repair decisions.

This is a person-based consultation service. Bryan personally reads every submission and writes every reply, including SMS/text messages — no AI chatbot, bot, or automated message generation is used.

Not emergency service

This service is not live chat, emergency roadside assistance, towing, immediate repair, or a substitute for hands-on inspection where safety is involved. If a vehicle is unsafe to drive, leaking fuel, overheating severely, losing brakes/steering, making severe mechanical noise, or presenting any immediate safety risk, stop driving and seek local hands-on assistance.

Customer responsibility

You are responsible for deciding whether to perform any inspection, test, repair, or driving action. Vehicle repair can involve risk, including injury, fire, electrical hazards, moving parts, hot components, pressurized systems, and property damage. Use appropriate safety procedures and professional assistance when needed.

Payments and access

Paid consult access is provided through a customer thread link after checkout. Pricing and service levels are shown before payment. The thread and any final notes are the written diagnostic review for that consult.

SMS program terms

Program name: What's it Doing? consult updates.

If you provide a phone number and choose call/text updates during consult intake, Rodgers Services LLC may send transactional SMS messages related to your automotive consult. Messages may include a paid-thread link, consult status updates, reply notifications, and related active-consult updates.

Message frequency varies based on consult activity. Message and data rates may apply. SMS consent is optional and is not required as a condition of purchasing a consult. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or use your active consult thread.

Internal business-operations notifications

Program name: Rodgers Services LLC internal operations alerts. Separately from the consult-update program above, Rodgers Services LLC operates an internal, single-recipient SMS program for its own business operations. The sole recipient is Bryan Rodgers, the business owner/operator, who configured his own phone number as the fixed recipient inside his own internally-built business-operations software as part of running Rodgers Auto Repair. There is no public sign-up path for this program; no customer or other member of the public receives messages under it. Messages include operational alerts such as repair-order checkout summaries, shop profit and owner-pay confirmations, and system status alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Opt-out and help

Uploads and submitted content

You may choose to upload photos, audio notes, files, estimates, or other vehicle-related material. You confirm that you have the right to submit the material and that it is relevant to your consult. Do not upload unrelated sensitive personal information.

Refunds and limitations

If the submitted issue cannot be meaningfully reviewed from the available information, Rodgers Services LLC may provide a practical next-step recommendation, request clarification, or make the situation right at its discretion. The service does not guarantee a specific diagnosis, repair outcome, cost result, or shop decision.

No warranties

Consult information is provided based on the facts and media submitted by the customer. Because vehicles require hands-on testing and conditions can change, guidance is provided without warranty of a guaranteed diagnosis, repair, or result.

Privacy

Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy at /privacy.html. We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
