Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 26, 2026
What's it Doing? is Bryan's personal automotive consultation service operated through Rodgers Services LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the website and paid diagnostic consult service, how that information is used, and how SMS/email communication is handled.
This is a person-based service, not an AI chatbot or automated messaging system. Bryan personally reads every submission and writes every SMS/text reply.
Information we collect
When you submit a consult, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number if provided.
- Vehicle information such as year, make, model, mileage, symptoms, diagnostic trouble codes, repair history, and related notes.
- Photos, audio notes, documents, estimates, or other files you choose to upload.
- Payment status and transaction identifiers from our payment processor.
- Messages and updates added to your consult thread.
How we use information
We use your information to:
- Provide the paid automotive diagnostic consultation you requested.
- Create and maintain your consult thread.
- Send your receipt, paid-thread link, case status updates, and replies related to your consult.
- Review submitted vehicle symptoms, photos, audio notes, files, and repair details.
- Maintain business records, troubleshoot the service, and prevent misuse.
SMS and email communication
If you provide a phone number and choose call/text updates during consult intake, we may send transactional SMS messages related to your active consult. These may include your paid-thread link, case status updates, reply notifications, and related consult updates.
Message frequency varies based on consult activity. Message and data rates may apply. SMS consent is optional and is not required to purchase a consult. You can opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP. Email communication may still be used for receipts and consult access unless you request otherwise.
Internal business-operations notifications
Separately from the paid consult service described above, Rodgers Services LLC also uses SMS for internal business-operations notifications sent solely to the business owner/operator's own phone number as part of running Rodgers Auto Repair — for example, daily repair-order checkout summaries, shop profit tracking, and system status alerts. These messages are not sent to, and are not intended for, any customer or other member of the public. The sole recipient is the business owner, who configured and enabled this notification service for himself. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
No sale or marketing sharing of mobile/SMS information
We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile phone numbers and messaging consent information are used only to provide transactional consult-related communications and to operate the messaging service.
Service providers
We may use service providers to operate the website, payment processing, email delivery, SMS delivery, file storage, hosting, and database services. These providers are used only as needed to deliver and operate the consult service and are not authorized to use mobile/SMS consent information for their own marketing.
Payments
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number on our website or in our database.
Uploaded files and consult content
Photos, audio notes, and files submitted with your consult may be reviewed as part of the diagnostic process. Do not upload sensitive personal information that is not necessary for the vehicle consult.
Data retention
Consult information may be retained for business records, customer support, dispute prevention, service improvement, and legal/accounting purposes. You may request deletion of non-required personal information by contacting Rodgers Services LLC through the website or your consult thread.
Your choices
- You may choose not to provide a phone number.
- You may choose whether to consent to call/text consult updates.
- You may opt out of SMS by replying STOP.

- You may request correction or deletion of certain personal information, subject to business, legal, and accounting record requirements.
